    Corel V10 was one of the worst versions I ever used but changing operating system to W2000 and then onto XP pro certainly changed it into something more reliable. Make sure you install the service patches and have plenty of memory – ram and free disk space. Install a postscript printer (any will do) and set it as your default printer and to file, Corel apparently looks at the printer driver when it opens files.

    i used to have this problem regardless of operating system thinking the programm naff ( i nearly whent a bought signspitlab ) i bought a lap top and it was very stable on that so now thinking it may be the computer changed the mother board for a £25 one and has not been a problem since as my other computers got upgraded or replaced the problem has just disapiered
