1st time using correx so I thought I’d share.

Curves are ‘in’ at the moment. Look at small newspaper ads’ and you’ll see what I mean.

Hi Dewi the correx or rather euroflute was good to work with. I improvised a
felt squeegie(???) and went for it. Because I applied the vinyl overlapping the
edge of the board I only had two long cuts to do in total.

I ended up cutting the board with a craft knife and straight edge after some
experimenting with a hooked stanley blade, as you can gather the experiments
were less than successfull.

Did you buy one of those fancy cutters? if so what d’ya think of it?

I bought the Plast-Kut from Graphic Sign Supplies and its proved to be a really useful tool. I sell alot of the free-standing corex boards with things like wet paint, slippy floor etc on them to some large companies, so if I’ve got 50 to do, the Plast-Kut saves oodles of time.

I’m not a great fan of corex-type materials, but as you’ve shown Pete, you can make some really good looking signs from it and its more than a little useful when it comes to making cheap site signs and things like that.

Anyway, give over improvising felt squeegees Pete, next visit over here you can pinch a couple from here. You’re still not having my 3m golds though 😉

We bought the plast kut aswell from Graphic sign supplies/Lamby/Rising. Its a handy little tool to have.
