I would guess that you rout away the background leaving only the dots. Or am I missing the point of your question?

Yes I had thought of that but customer want it on a sliver backgraound with navy blue writing. If it was just a wooden sign then routing the background would be the answer. I can rout the letters so that they stick up but I’m not sure whether the dots would work. Anyone got any other ideas Regards Adrian

I have seen some Braille signage recently and it was produced by routing out the dots on the base panel and inserting same size colored ‘balls’ into the aforementioned routed dots. Quite effective but very time consuming. You could try Clearline on 01206 848200 Be sure to tell them EXACTLY what you require or you will get stock Braille signage which is quite dull.

Suregrave do all the stuff you need including the braille dot “pen” dispenser. Give them a ring, it’s easeir than you think! I have just got a large order for tactile signs that will just about pay for an engraving machine, so I am looking into it now as we speak/type 🙂
