We have do apply vinyl graphics around a vehicle door handle.
Any tips as to how best to achieve a nice cut edge around the handle
    would be appreciated.

    Ian,

The safest and easiest way is to plot and weed them and then trim the app tape out of the hole so the handle doesn`t interfere with the application. This takes a little bit of setting up but gives 100% accurate results.

The trickier way is to manually cut them with a very sharp scalpel once the vinyl is applied. Use a metal ruler for precison and go very slowly around the corners.

    Hi Ian,

I just manually cut round them with a scalpel, but to aid matters a bit get an off-cut of magnetic vinyl.

You can place in position and cut along the straight edge, i find it easier than trying to hold a ruler in place.

Also u can cut many radius templates etc out of the magnetic for going around locks/door handles.

They might take a bit of time but u only need to do it the once and you can re-use them again and again.

    Hope this helps, Joe
