Just had to fit a banner, 13 metres long by 3.5 metres high, and I can’t seem to get enough tension on it to remove the creases put in it from transporting it (not me, the printers…). Does anyone have any tips or tricks to get them out as the customer isn’t happy…

    Thanks in advance, Andy.

What are you fixing to? Wall, Scaffold, fence?

If we are fixing to a wall with traditional fixing we would use a no. 10 at 2″ long screw and a washer, starting at one end at the top and stretch as you go, then do the bottom pulling out and down with each fixing.

Fence or scaffold, the obvious quick choice is big cable ties.

But the ideal fixing would be a ball end bungee. These things are fantastic but not always adeal on a wall with limited space.
I have a pic of one of these if you want to see one and I can let you know where to buy.

You tried a heat gun at the back of the banner where the creases are? Perhaps this will help a little
