    Holidays?

Just like you Nik, I haven’t taken one full day in years
7 days a week, every week.

Employees may get away with 5 half-working days 😉

I’m not long back from a week in lovely Lincoln (Sherwood Forest) – Actually we’ve been back working for a week now but I have been playing “catch up” after being away the first week in July.

When I first started the business I was afraid to take any holiday because I would lose business. However now I have come to the conclusion that it’s better to take a break every now and again to keep your sanity. After all – life is for living – not just working!!

Lincoln is indeed lovely Phill and a great place for me to work. However, Lincoln is in the heart of Lincolnshire and Sherwood Forest is about 50 miles to the south west in Nottinghamshire. Are you sure you weren’t in Nottingham?

Lee, we are visiting a friend who moved to Australia 3 or so years ago. He lives in Aubury? a few hours from Melbourne. Another friend visited the west coast last year & said it was much better that the east so I thought I would spend a few days there 1st. Would be nice if you could show me 1 or 2 watering holes 🙂

Raj: Thet don’t wrap fish ‘n’ chips in newspaper now for health ‘n’ safety reasons

We used to ask for the crinkly bits called ‘scraps’ but they are stopped for the same reason

I’m there mate…Nice place here in the west. I’d love to show you Fremantle. A fantastic place with some great pubs. Give me a pm when the time gets nearer and we’ll arrange something ok? It’d be nice to do the touristy thing.

I was at Centre Parcs Nottingham – I always associate Lincoln Green with Robin hood and the Sherriff of Nottingham (this is why I thought I was in lincoln 😕 ) – please excuse my ignorance 😳
