    Hi,

I have a roller that I use for rolling the reflective to the acrylic on number plates, I would like a wider one, around 500mm in width for rolling vinyl onto foamboard for making signs, does anyone know where I can get one from?

do you mean to apply the lettering on the board mate or just to cover the cover the board in vinyl?

    Hello Robert,

just to cover the cover the board in vinyl!, I will be printing on the vinyl with a digital printer and I want a quicker way of applying the vinyl to the board and the roller seems the best way.

i think at that width the best thing with cost in mind is a roller type mangle.
(clothes mangle) you could try ebay.co.uk and see if any old ones are on the go. not sure how well it will work but the plate presses are just a small version of one of those are they not?
next step up would be desktop laminator/mounter steve lamb sells these in various widths i think.. http://www.graphicsignsupplies.co.uk/

    they are not expensive but
how much you are hoping to pay for mounting is another thing..

    best of luck mate 😀

Rob is right, we have various laminators, desktop and freestanding at reasonable prices too. We have just sent two large format (1400mm) to Southern Ireland in the last few weeks.
Please send me a pm and I will send you some prices.
The website is being finalised at the moment so not much to look at if you visit.
I will announce when it is up and running.
