That drop shadow is brilliant mate had me thinking for a couple of minutes (till I re read your post properly that is 😆 )

Terry,
The layout on this job is perfect.
It is so “punchy”, clean and balanced.
You do outstanding work.
I’ll bet you had fun doing it too!
Love…Jill
(punchy means it’s snappy & attention getting!) 😉 -
These are stunning who needs a digital printer

Nice work Terry!
But I think Jill got a bit too close when you were spraying as she has got a load of overspray in her hair!😮 😆 😀

excellent effect mate.. top class as ever! 😉
how long would something like this take you?

Thanks for the comments
Rob , airbrushing the vinyls takes only about 30minTheyre done prior to laying up and the shadow is cut into pieces to align more accuratly and butted against the major shapes
inks used ,the blue text gets a brushed clearcoat for extra protection
though ive not had inks fail -
Nice work as usual terry. Exactly what inks do you use? I use createx auto air but its a sod going through the brush at times.
-
Great Stuff as usual Terry
Not sure I understood the shadow bit
You say you cut individually then butt to the major parts
Is there chance of shrinkage – leaving a gap
Or do you overlap slightly
Curious

The inks are regular vinyl printing inks, some being Softside (for lettering truck curtains ) from Keeps that ive had for many years and some that was given to me by a printer friendJohn
Yes thats right I butt up against not overlap cause I like to leave the design as flat as possible ,using mac 9800 ive not had any shrinkage to dateAnother reason for butting originally was that if the airbrushing failed then it would be quite simple to redo and replace, though this has not been needed

Fantastic Terry, I am well impressed. I have to do some airbrushing on a sign soon (First time)so I hope it comes out ok.
Great to see the effects.
Cheers
Dave
