can anyone tell me how to ungroup in corel please?
Posted by evo1v on 9 May 2004 at 22:03Hello all, Just a simple question, how to un-group in coral? I should fiddle about more but thought I’d see if I get the answer here first?
Thanx, Lawrence

Heres 3 ways
1) Select group , then go to arrange/ungroup.
2) Right click group and select the ungroup option
3) Select group and use Ctrl U on keyboard -
sorry, didnt explain myself in full, Ive exported from omega, certain parts are grouped and under the arrange scroll, “ungroup isnt alowing me to select”

Beat you all anyway, I had to “break curve apart” now Im sure that makes sense to you all.

Yep, but watch for the centres of those A’s, O’s etc. etc. I hate the way it makes them look solid, I know they’ll still cut, but I like to see it the way it should be on the sign 🙄

Dewi , make the letters have “no fill” , just an outline and you wont see that.

after breaking apart alter as required then select whats required and COMBINE text or logo this will bring back your centers of letterschris

Wow!!! just tryed the combine feature, I now have centres again
Top Tip Chris, thanks for that!

Top tips as Lawrence has said. Thanks Rodney, Chris… just tried it out, miles easier 😀 😀 Its bizarre that you can work with CorelDRAW for a while doing virtually everything the hard way, I still remember drawing outlines round text by hand, then I realised thats what the contouring tool was for. D’oh! 😳 😳 😳
Cheers, Dewi
