OOh those are pretty. Although I was led to believe my married name came from Scotland it came up with nothing…but my maiden name (which originates from France too) did. A pretty little number – not that I think I’d wear it except maybe in bed, would make funky PJ’s 😀

🙁
 None for me.
But my great-grandad came over from County Galway in 1876…..
And my other great-grandad came from Ireland too.
 Guess that explains why.
After seeing men urinating on the streets in Cork last year,
I began telling people that I am of Scottish ancestry.
I think my new last name will be McWelsh.

oh!! nice one jill ed will be pleased he’s half welsh!! 😛 but remember we scots are irish!! 😉 😉 Nik

I could never figure out why if I was of Irish decent,
why my surname would be Welsh.
But I guess at some point in history, Welshmen immigrated to Ireland?
My late husband was a Warfield, of Welsh descent.
 Ancestry is a tricky thing.
But since I was born in Pennsylvania,
I suppose I’m just a plain old American.
