  Plotter Technologies-Profile Series- drivers/advice

  We’ve got the chance of a Plotter Technologies “PROFILE” series cutter (to be used as a backup).

  does anyone have any idea if they still make these things..and if there is anywhere we can obtain up to date drivers/blades/parts etc.?? We’ve got the unit cutting (albeit very slowly), but i was wondering if there was a site/forum where we could get some more info..

  Any information on them at all would be much appreciated before i part with my hard earned cash…

  Your plotter is listed in Signlab (Plotter Technologies 700sp) and I seem to remember some models having an interchangeable head (drag/tangential) so try a Summa or Houston driver if a proper one is not available, mind you if you can change the language it uses on the plotter itself – HPGL/plt as in Roland might be worth a go.
