    Hello

Firstly me (chris) and aaron have just started a little buisness called Arch digital. We have had a dabble with vinyl before but never really been able to get into it.

We have both worked together for the past 6 years as mac artworkers/ designers/reprographics but are board of sitting at a computer 24/7 working for someone else.

So this is our sideline to work and we end up here to find info and pick brains cos we need this to quit our badly paid jobs!

Hi and welcome Chris and Aaron 😀

There seems to be a mass exodus from the graphic design side into the sign industry 😮 Is there something we should know? 😆

Pick away at our brains though, I don’t have that many to pick at, but anyway I can help, I will 😀

    Cheers, Dewi

we found you at sign uk plus also a bloke called steve thats a gold member also recommended you.

I think alot of people are coming from graphic design to sign making because its that hard to get a job that pays well in the industry.

Our plotter arives today so cant wait to try it out!

Hands up! Im another designer who invested in a cutter, you’ll love it mate. Its very satisfying seeing your designs take shape into something you can pick up and touch, rather than just sitting on a screen or piece of paper.

Hello to the both of you.
Just don’t start having champagne wishes
    and caviar dreams….being a signmaker
adds a whole new dimension to the term
    “starving artist” haha
Been in this biz 19 years and only hit
the $30,000 mark last year…I am thinking about getting a job
as a greeter at WalMart because my brains have been fried
from both the paint fumes and dealing with the idiots who
    walk thru my door.
Sorry for being such a downer! It can be a rewarding career.
And this is a great place to find answers!
    Love…Jill 😳
