Menu Light Boxes
I’ve just got back from a takeaway. They want their menu light box relettering (or more precisely the acrylic replacing and relettering) but they want to be able to change their own prices once its been relettered.
I’ve been asked for this twice this week, so I’ve been thinking on it. Is it possible to get a digital print that will stick to the reverse of a clear acrylic, then lay the prices in cut vinyl on the front of the acrylic and supply the customer with a metre of numbers so they can reprice at will?
I know menu boards are the bain of the signmaker’s existance, but someone has to do it. I’d really like to take these two jobs on, but obviously relettering with cut vinyl would be my last option. What do you guys think?
Cheers, Dewi
