As many will know by now Danny Smalldrige will be running the forthcoming Flora London Marathon on the 18th of April 2004 for charity.
Danny has kindly offered to run the marathon wearing a uksignboards.com T-shirt.
I thought this was the perfect opportunity to have a bit of fun & turn this into a sort of competition.
The competition will be to design a t-shirt for Danny to run in.
The design can be whatever you feel, but tasteful & easily read.
uksignboards.com should be seen easily on the front & rear.
Please remember that Danny will have to have a number pinned on the front and rear of the shirt. Situated in the lower area.
The prints will not be digital, so should be created as flat vector images.Your vector file of the artwork may be required to help in the production of the shirt. But it is not a necessity.
so there you have it, short, sweet & easy to follow..
The prize
Well, like i said its all a bit of fun. So what i will do is to have a case of 24 bottles of Budweiser sent direct to you place of work/home.
Or
If you do not drink Budweiser, tell us what you do drink, & I will send you that!
e.g.
BEER: Becks, Budweiser, Redstripe, Grolsch
WHISKEY: Famous Grouse, 100 pipers, Johnny Walker
Just whatever you drink I will have it sent..
(Within reason of course.. No vintage wine eh š š )Iām sure you get the idea…
The Competition will close on the 7th of April.
The competition is open to “any” registered user of the site.
The competition for “alcohol” is open to UK residents only.
If you are from outside the UK the prize will be a lifetime membership of gold access all areas of the site.The Judges š®

Hi folks…
Just a quick one.. šIf you are submitting artwork for the competition, could you please send it in .jpg or a .gif format?
I do not need the vector file at the moment, but may request it from the winner to help with producing the t-shirt graphics. š -
Got my design done and sent Robert. Look forward to seeing the other guys work too!

hi folks.. competition is closed now of course. i will submit the entries to the three judges and awaite their decisions. i will then announce the winner at some point next week.
can i make a point and say, i received a couple of mac files that i could not open. if you sent entries in this format please resend in a format i can veiw on pc. thank you.. š

i just checked up on the marathon website and from what i could make out the marathon is on the 18th of this month, which is Sunday week.Kev
