Hi all, getting shocking prices from Roland for Blade holder & Blades, can anyone recommend a U.K. supplier please, preferably one that doesn’t wear a mask & hold a gun!. I have had quotes for an XD-CH2 Holder at £88 & VAT but the same item from the U.S. is on $69.99, a whack of a difference but the best laugh is the recommended Roland supplier (Hull)wanting £35 PER BLADE 😆 Whilst i can get the SAME items in a 5 PACK for £30 from the U.S. !

    HI Gazza,

Speak to Edward Mathias they do good blades and are more than helpful!
They also do an excellent smart blade which replaces your blade holder and is all pre-set so when it arrive no messing about setting the blade depth up.

p.s see thier advert on the homepage just under the latest posts section.

    Hi Gazza

I bought one ex SignMaster in Market Drayton for £52.50 plus postage £4 plus VAT in early December.

I thought that was very dear, but £88.00 – Wow.

before ed mathias we used to pay upto 130 pounds maybe more for a packet of 5 roland original blades. we now pay less than a tenner each for a blade that comes in a sealed unit & seems to last far longer.
harry contacted me a while ago to ask why havent i been buying his blades. i told him we use them as much as our old ones. if not more and they are still cutting great..

his fault for such a good blade eh. 😉
seriously though.. i know loads on the boards that use these blades. ask others.. i am sure you will love them 😉
