I am hoping Dave can help me with this one. I have recently ordered 40 CMYK cartridges and today we have had five of them get trapped as they have gone past the print head and foam roller causing the used portion to sag and get trapped as the head goes past. This is giving missed print areas and unusable sections of the cartridge. They seem to be spooled differently to the Roland cartridges in that the material goes over the last roller and not inside of it. This seems to be causing the used spool not to pick up the material properly if that makes sence. Other than this the 5ft x 3ft (3 sections) photographic print that has been done today is of excellent print quality (who says the PC60 is for small labels 😀 ) and nedless to say value for money

    Kind regards
    Alex

    Hi Alex..
Just had a look at your web site and saw you did a job just up the road from me..”TANZ” ,bit of a long way from you. I think the owner lived up your way.
Still looking good, Did you do the neon in the window, and window graphics?
Sorry to post something not relevant.

    Cheers

    Simon

    Hi Alex
Sorry to hear that you’ve had a problem with cartridges for your PC60 from Print One. I can’t ring you direct – I’m in South Africa until next week. It is possible that the cartridge loading was at fault – but the ribbon route should not give you that type of problem described. Ring Kelly @ Print One who will organise free replacemnets immediately for you. She’ll ask for the suspect cartridges to be returned for examination to determine what the problem is. The problem sounds like a difficulty reading the end od ribbon bar code.
I’ll ring you on my return next week.
    Best Regards

    Cheers Simon
We did that sign and window graphics quite a while ago the neon was put in at a later date by someone else!
We have done two other shops for the same people fairly nearby one is TAN XS and the other one is a gym called PULSE on the corner in Wallington which is two 30ft stencil cut stainless steel illuminated fascia’s at right angles of the building with a central curved panel which contains a LED display. Unfortunately the photographs taken are pretty poor but if you are passing near there you can’t miss it at night!

    Kind regards
    Alex
