    HI

Anybody got the definertive answer why corel V10 changes the name of the cutpath outline
one system does it the other 2 dont after closing and reopening a file the cutpath name has changed to “cutpath (1)” etc
very anoying if there are lots of ungrouped cuts cos they have to be reset
and the correct name is still in the custom list
    thanks in advance

    Hi Mr. Sticker,

I think the problem is as follows:

You have a spot colour set up with (for example the following) the colour set to C:50 M:50 Y:0 K:0 and the name is CutPath.

You import a file with a spot colour called CutPath but the values for that colour are C:49 M:50 Y:0 K:0

Corel already has a spot colour called CutPath, but it knows that it is a different CYMK value, so it knows they are not the same. Therefore it appends the (1) to the end of the name as it cannot have two different colours with the same name.

    Hope that this helps,

    Mike Antrum.
