    Hi

Just found your site by being pointed to it from a supplier about a problem with the VersaCam

As usual I have done it all about face buy posting message then saying hello.

Seems to be some good informative points on here and its always good to have somewhere to bounce ideas off other informed people. We have a good local network of 3 or signmakers that help each other out and compete for the same work!!, is this just an unusal industry? or are we just unusual?

Remember if you are not paranoid they still might get you……………

    Cheers

    Hi Craig,

I’ve heard of impact signs, in fact you’re just round the corner from me. We’re on Hale road (we work from the basement so no competition there!!). We’re called SurfLocal and are mainly graphical, illustration, web etc and digital printing, business cards, letterheads, blah blah blah, large format digital prints seem popular at the moment must be Christmas.
We’ve just bought a vinyl cutter and SignLab, seem there’s a bit of work with it. Done some frosting to Grapevine Computers windows and other bits and bats. Not really sure where were going, might not know when we get there…..
We also have a mutual friend at Bar41 *drink* in Altrincham, I like Bar41 always reminds me of ‘Cheers’… I was trying to get a quote for a banner for Grapevine computers on Greenwood Street that they were trying to get permission to hang over the main pedestrian way near Woolies, anyway, Andy Morris (Bar 41) gave me your number, said you had done them a first class job! (we printed some logos on there menus).
You are base in Broadheath aren’t you, near B&Q. Any sniff at a big job I’ll be straight round!!

Anyway life can be strange and i hope we meet some time….maybe in Bar41……who knows…..

    Phil

PS, the banners are still pending…….
