  • can anyone with driver for a graphtec FC4100-75 please?

    just acquired s/h FC4100-75 loaded driver for XP Home,
    connected via LPT1 PORT set as default printer,settings all work on print command from corel draw, but plotter displays "error 1 instruction not recognised"
    any clues please!

    The Graphtec can be set to GPGL or HPGL, I don’t cut using the windows Graphtec driver but it sounds like you may well be sending the wrong language to the cutter. Look at the cutter settings if it’s set to HPGL try GPGL & vice versa.

    spot on!! it was set on HPGL, but running on windows XP it does,nt seem to like Corel draw much, so I must invest in new software – but which one! Flexisign,? can,t afford Signlab,but lot of talk about VMP?
    any opinions????

    Mike, I think you will find Signlab is a fair bit cheaper than Flexi.
