is anyone a member of the guild of master craftsman and if so, does it benefit in any way.

My personal opinion is it’s a complete waste of time.
They’re only interested in your money – and I believe most small businesses realise this so there is no real “cachet” in being a member.
It’s far better to be an official member of the UKSG. I think you’re already a member Tony, so why not download the UKSG artwork and include it on your vehicle(s) and letterheads.
You customers will be much more impressed 😀

as much as im biased tony, phills right.
its something i think that will develop in time with the UKSG. (time i dont have 😆 )
but i honestly think that because the group is growing so fast, the obvious step to take next is to have some sort of standard approved certificate of some kind.
i have mentioned this before, but will get round to it when i can think of a realistic method for this.
i know how i would approach a vinyl applicators one but after that? 🙄there are far to many certificates being given out willy nilly these days.

i dont know how some of these folk sleep at night. i for one would put my name on a certificate approving someone/COMPANY just because they gave me a couple of hundred quid. if they fail they fail…i dont know how many bsi logos i have put on vans that are wrecks.. the company is dodgy and has sprung up overnight.. yet they get one of these badges to wave under potential customers nosies.. 👿
