you can buy a new single head for approx £7k
the last 2nd user machine I saw was a 6 head for £6K.
We looked at 2nd user machines, but were put off by how much some machines were used. Some were being used 24/7.
The new machines have a quite running mode/modifercation. I wish we had waited 3 months more, and our machine would have had this feature. A real ear saver..
So we decided to go for a 4 head/12 needle SWF. 2 years parts and labour.
“Tajima” and “happy” are good makes too. Theres brother & melco too. plus a couple more I can`t remember.
I think the model mentioned is a hobby machine/add on to a home sowing machine. £500 way too cheap for an industrial model, unles its a dog.
Don`t forget you will need specialist software to “digitize” your designs, or you can go to a design bureau for the designs/logos. Signlab is £cheap compared to embroidery software. I was quoted £12k @ printware and promotion show, by wilcom.
