  has anyone used Roland CutChoice with illustrator 10?

  Hey Guys,

  I’m using Roland CutChoice with Illustrator 10. I’ve done all the installation as well as installed the AI10 Updated from the CutChoice CD.

  Illustrator 10 lists CutChoice as an installed Plug-In, however the "Cut/Plot" option doesn’t appear under the "file" menu as it is shown in the CutChoice Readme.

  If you do use CutChoice then you know the documentation is sub-par to say the least. I’m just curious if anyone else has used AI with CutChoice and if you had reasonable results.

  There may be a further update that is not on your CD that you may need. There are a couple of updates to this plug-in here.

  Hey Pioneer,

  Thanks for the post. Unfortunately, I’ve already got all the updates. I tried using Illustrator 9 without the updater and then Illustrator 10 WITH the updater (as they recommend) with no results in either situation.

  My main curiosity is if anyone is currently using CutChoice with Illustrator or Corel.

  Hi,

  We have used rolands colour choice with Corel, and it is a right moo to get working properly, in the end we used Corel with the standard pc600 windows driver which works fine, I am not sure about Illustrator though.

  I bought a Roland PNC 1100 secondhand and did not get Roland Cutchoice that comes with a normal roland purchase, can I get from a website anywhere. I can only find updates. can anyone help???? mod-edit
  I am on an imac, I have heard this is my best chance to get it cutting from the mac
  I currently have it working from a PC using the driver from Freehand

  Cant u save as an eps start cut choice and add from there into cut choice thats the way i did it anyway I have version 2.1 on windows.
