I’ve only just seen this post i’ve done something similar on a wheel cover but can’t remember exactly what it is i’ll have a look tomorrow and post it, maybe its of some use to you

try this mate.. its not great but close!
the sybols though! 😮 couldnt even start to work on those.. sorry. 😡i think the smudging isnt so much the letters i think everything has a shadow and this causes the pixels to merge and appear to be blurrrrr 🙄

i converted to graphics to upload and i didnt save it..
it came from the signlab fonts disk if you have that.. heavybc i think.
im sure thats “signlab” short for : helvetica bold condensed.. 🙄 -
