Help I need some brouchures for some traditional styles of A Boards and swing boards for hanging on a wall.

I have a few catalogues for modern types, but they are the likes you would find outside a chippy or something, not quite your little welsh village shop type thing.

    Anyone got any ideas (?)

Nice one Adrian – I was also looking for someone to supply this type of thing recently. I’ve added this site to my list. 😀

Paddy, like you I live in the countryside (ooh! arrr! 🙂 ) and I make my own wooden A boards and the design I use is a lot better than the flimsy ones that you can buy, I’m no carpenter so if you want any pointers give me a ring on 01205 761308, as for signhangers I get the local blacksmiths to make mine.

They look a little lighter in weight than the ones I make, but I can’t make them for that price.

I agree Pete, do they come with a free 20lb weight to hold them down in the lovely calm non windy and sunny weather we always have in this country, you can always spot customers who have my A boards, they’re the ones that have arms like Arnie and thats just the women 😆 also I make them a lot larger usually 48″x24″.

I won’t make any comment about Yorkshire women. As space is a little tight in Whitby I usually suggest something a little smaller,to catch the unsuspecting sightseer just below the belt
