    Hello everyone,

I was just wondering on a general opinion, recently on my habitual stroking and caressing of signs and vinyl graphics in passing by, i have noticed a few (mostly old transit vans) graphics where instead of the vinyl being laid into the contour it has been cut. when standing face on at a distance its not noticable, but when at an angle or close up you can see that the graphic has been cut away (are you getting my meaning) anyway i just wondered how many did this??

Not me Lorraine. None of my customers would sit still for that. ๐Ÿ™

I know exactly what you mean Lorraine.
In a nutshell, NO. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ I donโ€™t use this method, but have seen it a few times.

I have to say it does work to an extent & makes life so much easier. But thatโ€™s the reason and only reason I see in doing it. To make life easier or to help the non-experienced vinyl applicator.
Itโ€™s not the hardest thing in the world to go in and out recessed areas. And if itโ€™s impossible to do with regular vinyl, then vehicle wrap is at hand. ๐Ÿ˜‰

We have a customer that does it quite often, he has done dozens of vans for a national tyre distributor using that method. The ones I have seen do look neater done like that. His customer think so as well which is the main thing I guess ๐Ÿ˜€

I think possibly he does it to make like easier though ๐Ÿ˜†
