Soyang Hardware celebrates showroom relaunch with open day event
Soyang Hardware, the specialist division of Soyang Europe that offers wide and superwide format print production hardware solutions from many of the industry’s biggest and best-known printer brands, is delighted to announce a two-day open day event, offering visitors the chance to view solutions from several leading manufacturers.
Taking place on 23-24 October between 9am and 6pm, the event will serve as the relaunch of Soyang Hardware’s updated showroom in Swavesey, Cambridgeshire. Those in attendance will have the opportunity to view live demonstrations of both print and finishing hardware from major brands such as Fujifilm, Mimaki and Keencut, as well as RIP software solutions.
Among the highlights will be the Fujifilm Prime 30, a high-speed UV flatbed printer that is available with multiple ink configurations including white, clear and primer. The device runs instant-curing inks and offers a top print resolution of 1200dpi.
Also from Fujifilm will be the Acuity Prime Hybrid, a flatbed and roll-to-roll UV printer that runs at speeds of up to 141sq m/hr. With a 2,050mm maximum print width, this allows users to produce everything from board games and packaging to sign and display applications, banners and more.
Mimaki will also have a strong presence across the two days, with its Mimaki CJV150 to be one of two machines on display. The CJV150 is an entry- or mid-level print and cut device available in four sizes, offering a top print speed of 56.2sq m/hr.
The second Mimaki machine that will be running throughout the event is the Mimaki UCJV330, another print and cut machine that can be supplied in three sizes. All models in the series can print on PVC-free materials and textile, opening up applications such as signs, banners, stickers, canvases and wall graphics.
Finishing touch
Aside from print, visitors will be able to view finishing equipment from several brands. Among the machines on display will be the Keencut SteelTrak 250, a high production device for the cutting of rigid and semi-rigid materials and the scoring and snaping of glass and acrylic.
In addition, knowledgeable staff from Soyang Hardware will be running live demonstrations on the Bubble Free Pro, a flatbed laminator that allows a single operator to mount and laminate materials quickly while eliminating the danger of bubbles or creases.
With the two days also set to feature demos of software solutions, including RIP products, as well as the opportunity to view and take away media sample books, there will be something for everyone who attends.
“We’re excited to be reopening our Swavesey facility with this two-day event,” said Sarah Fenna, Sales Director of Soyang Hardware. “It is the perfect opportunity for us to meet up with new and existing customers, as well as for attendees to view leading equipment from some of the biggest manufacturers in the market.”
