We powder coat modular sign systems on a daily basis (silver anodised and mill finished. In my opinion powder coating would be the way to go due to the durability of the finish.

Hi
The usual manufacturing method for this that we would use would be to produce the braille on 1.5mm clear ada sticker to be bonded to current signage.

MemberOctober 22, 2015 at 6:18 pm in reply to: High Tack CAD Vinyl – recommendations please?Hi David
we powder coat in house for a huge range of trade clients every day and apply vinyl on a daily basis the only problems we ever come across are some powders have a high wax level such as blues and whites which can leave a low adhesion so tend to as above use a image perfect super grip and touch wood seems to do the trick and isn’t too pricey either :thumbup2:
hope that helps

thanks for the replys guys! fingers crossed will give some of those ideas a try, we send things on a dedicated courier too but you know how it is on some jobs people won’t pay the cost

Hi David
looks like a romark dda sign to me the lines around the edges are where the sign has been engraved too deep, we produce these day in day out on the machines we manufacture braille and tactile signs . The process as mentioned above is applying a front substrate to the back with a adhesive layered in between routing out and removing the waste and cleaning the adhesive residue from around the letters hope this helps

We are one of the trade’s best secrets!
Looking at getting our name out there more this year. We do a hell of a lot here.🤣
(Spandex obviously) But that’s a small part of what we manufacture here.Some of the types of signage we manufacture are:
* Aluminium trays, monoliths, flat cut lettering (powder coat in-house)
* Braille and tactile / traffolyte signage
* Flat cut lettering
* Powder coat lacquer(hope it is ok to post the above / if not please remove)
