Agree with Rob – no strip required as it’s not like it’s the world’s most flexible material so it’s not going to pop out…and there are no joins.
Basically – it’s NOT going to pop out under any circumstances so long as there is sufficient material all the way round. I normally cut my composite 12 to 15mm under the frame size as this allows for material thickness, corner brackets and temperature expansion/contraction.
As far as hanging being better as it won’t foul on the corner brackets…well, you can either skim the corners or just leave it as both side will be the same.
Unnecessary redundancy in this instance.
