I determine a conversion as a sale or a lead. The lead might not convert straight away and might convert later down the track. We have systems in place to make the most out of our leads.
Dave: Yes I use analytic to track my conversions from pay per click and organic traffic.
I am in the process of developing new ideas to split test against to increase my conversion rate. I know we might soon hit a plateau in terms of shear volume we can receive or the costs in achieving an incremental increase won’t generate a great enough return on our investment.
Increasing the ratio of conversions seems like a more beneficial area to concentrate on.
