I dunno mate. There’s no doubting that’s one very clever bloke but he’s basically just invented a giant version of something that’s already been done only not as good.
Now if he could use that considerable intellect & impressive workshop to create something we don’t currently have like some clever device for boiling water or a contraption to make it easier to see in a dark room, then I’ll be truly impressed
I have just watched him invent a sort of robot hairdresser that cuts your hair. Now he did two versions, both done the job, but lots of room for improvement. “of course”.
but what really interests me is how this can and will be an automated thing in the future, for the masses at least. think of a shop, you walk in, sit down, it reads the chip now embedded in your hand,😉 debits your account and cuts your hair in a couple of minutes. no drivel conversation… “are you going any holidays, or, are you busy?” just in and out, job done and you walk away with a perfect Mullet! 🤣
the wall imaging device works on a very similar idea to the wall-mounted CNC device I posted on here in the past. except for its obviously cutting lines, not applying an image. I do find these types of things interesting as I like seeing how they come up with solutions to things.
