At the moment we just put all off puts in one corner, its a bit of a jumble, so looking for ideas to store these offcuts in a more sorted manner.

Anything out there I could buy at a reasonable price before I start thinking about making something.

    Thanks Mike

We made this, which holds 8 x 4 sheets and offcuts.

I bought this from Jag many years back, I then got a metal guy to fit every other section with a higher bar so the bigger panels can go on their sides and take up less room and not flop over. Best investment when i moved to my unit. Dont think i ordered a panel for six months as i could finally see what i had in stock straight away.

In 4 piles in the workshop…sort of sums up my storage policy! Generate more offcuts than i can cope with as most jobs are based around multiples / divisions of 8×4 or 10×5 sheets…so a lot of 200-300mm strips of comp and useless narrow panels of opal acrylic.

I had this problem and started to order A3/A4 panels from any offcuts on an order. Nice piles under the bench ready for when i need them and no more long thin off cuts to deal with.

If you have the inclination you could spend a few hours cutting down to A4/A3s if you use them to clear some space?
