Hi, can anyone help with this……I have been using Signlab 9.1 since it’s been out with no problems and all of a sudden I can’t move anything with the mouse, or draw squares, circles etc to move an object or text I can only use the arrow keys which is taking ages! And if I copy something and try to move it it will drop it a long way off where it should be. Sorry if I haven’t been able to describe it well enough. I’d really appreciate any ideas.

First check the obvious – is the mouse faulty? Does it function normally outwith Signlab?
Or is it possibly something to do with your operating system? Has it updated itself recently?

I think there’s an “object lock” check to see if that’s ticked

Might be the ‘selection tool settings’.

Where you chose what you grab…the edge or the infill and the snap range.

It sounds like you have "Snap to Grid" selected and maybe have a large grid size.
Look at Options >Grid > Snap to grid or CTRL+W.
You may have hit CTRL+W in error to enable it.

I have had this issue with SignLab 10 whereby I cannot move objects – either with the mouse or with the arrow keys. However, if I group the objects, I can move them no problem. I am also having a similar issue with not being able to order objects to the front, back, up one layer or down one layer. Yet, when I group the objects, I can move them to any layer.

    Snap to is turned off.

I am pretty sure I have the latest patch installed.

Whilst I can live with it, it would be better if there was a solution or someone can let me know if I am doing something wrong.
