    Another interesting sign was this manufactured from 3mm copper which i tarnished (using the burners in the neon shop) then ripped and bent the panel edges using a special tool that i made.

    finally it had router cut 5mm red acrylic push through letters fastened on the reverse side using welded studs

    Paul, what does it look like installed? Who came up with the design and choice of materials and what do they do?

    I have never seen it installed, its very rare to get pics of stuff installed and finished, as to who designed it, some design agency coffed up the appearance they wanted and it was translated into materials by a few people involved in the job, then i tok it under my wing to recreate the effects they wanted

    Paul, its in Portsmouth on the Gun Wharf Keys shopping centre, my cousin lives up the road in Southsea and I was there in May and saw the sign and thought it was brill!
