I know its been covered before for a limo.
But just in case someone has come up with an answer since.
Client needs a full colour logo to stick on his chopper (helicopter not bike)
    for occasional use any ideas?

Peter, what sort of size does it have to be? I take it magnetics would come off with the downdraught.

Trouble is Martin, choppers like most man made things that fly are made from not ferous materials, wood, canvas feathers ali etc.
A heavy duty cling film would do the job, but as far as I know, it hasnt been invented yet, just checking if one of you guys has come up with an answer to the problem that if solved could make you a packet!
About 3′ x 1′ in size by the way, or in new money 900mm x 300mm

Peter I know they are non ferous, you just have to apply a piece of ferro sheeting where you want to put the magnetic

Peter, ferro sheeting is a rubber based material with a self adhesive backing so you wouldnt be making any structural changes at all, as Simon has said though would depend on where it was going

The ferro sheeting sounds interesting, but is that then a permanent fixture? and if it is, how much would it cost?
The client charters the choppers as required, sometimes its for a few weeks, so the cost of the printed logo is not an issue. Sometimes though he charters for only a day and would like something that could be transfered from one chopper to another.
I know in the overall picture the cost of the graphics is not a lot, but you know how it is, if the client can save a few quid, then he’s happy

Yer that would work Simon provided there were windows and they were big enough, if done on self cling he could put them on and take them off as required as long as he kept the backing paper to keep them on.

Peter ferro sheeting is self adhesive so could be removed, its unlikely in that case that it would be classed as a permanent change, as for cost I can’t remember how much it costs off the top of my head.
Give bisbell a call and ask them.

Or what about taping in place, with like gaffa tape around the edge of an encapsulated print type thing, it could be Incorporated in to the print design, so it has a black boarder which would be the tape….????

Constructive idea Martin, but the image would not work like that. To many curves
