you’ve seen my stuff and so know how much I luv ‘high’ colour and dynamic designs – these boards of yours are so exciting!
really great work.
I see these type of ‘flash’ boards around Oxford occasionally – where the bigger clubs and nitespots are – and have often wondered how they’re done? Perhaps you’d consider posting a few pics of one being made in the future? – I know it’s odd sometimes ‘giving-away’ how you do stuff but…whatever you’re comfortable with!….
Terry as I have already said these are fantastic boards, I am quite surprised about the price though, I would have thought they would be quite a bit more expensive with the amount of work that must go into them. How long does it normally take to produce one of these from start to finish ? Do you design the artwork or does the customer already have it ? Sorry about all the questions but I’m a nosey so and so. Its the only way to learn.
Let me just jump in here and hopefully answer a few questions
These chaklkboards are painted on site without any prior information
I never know the size shape message or amount of boards until I arrive at the job.
Usually I am left to make up something generic that doesn’t need changing as long as its colourful and in keeping with the bar decor .I make it up as I go along, they just evolve.
Cost wise its hard to put a price on each cause I charge by the day I just try to make them as attractive as possible and within the time scheduled.
These must have took about 1.5-2hrs each
