I have been asked to print posters and i am looking for some advice on how you go about doing this. I already have the artwork and priced it separately on a different job. i now want to print the same onto poster paper and hand it over to my customer to install them.
So i have a couple of questions.
(1) Which paper do you print onto? I have looked online but found a lot of variation on costs.
(2) Do you have any tips you can give on how to charge for these? My customer kept referring to this job as “just paper” and i have a feeling they expect them to be cheap! but from what i can see so far, they arent going to be.
Hi leslie, i use 200g paper which is pretty good quality but you can obviously get slimmer. Price wise well it is “cheap” really compared to vinyl. Off the top of my head i think i paid something like 2euro a linear m.
Charging wise depends if your laminating or not but im at 30€ a linear m unlaminated.
Posters are another one that full in the same catagory as pop up stands and banners, very competitive and cheap.
