Hey Gray best i can suggest mate is get hold of some samples of various suppliers banner and curtain vinyls and see if it will stick, also you might want to contact the curtain manufacturer to see exactly what material they are made from.
I’ve done curtains in the past but have always painted them but they were not as complex as your design, mostly just text and I did them on the workshop floor probably the same size as the ones you are doing except I did 10 of em, bloomin nightmare, good luck. I seem to recognize that typeface hmmm!

Gray I have a friend that has done quite a few curtain sided trucks. He uses Mactac rigid paint mask then rollers the curtains with screen ink.

He has used banner ninyl before but has experienced quite a lot of shrinking with them.

no no no no no guys…

truck vinyl! its different from banner vinyl & sticks like sh*t to a wooly blanket.

    APA do it….

yes briagn the ink and stencil method works best. but takes alot longer and is a nightmare when it comes to two colours joining. the thinner in the ink reacts with the other colour and they bleed together…
im actualy doing a 20′ x 16′ banner right now in work. im inking the most of it and applying truck vinyl after it drys…

when a custmer askes me for a banner in say purple or lavendar or any colour for that matter. i stick the sericol ink in my spray gun and spray the whole banner… works perfect and keeps the customer happy. i do charge extra for this but the ink is dry in an hour… touch dry in 5 mins 😉
