These look great Tim, well-done mate!
Did you use a vector template/kit to cut these or did you use knifeless or wrap-cut tape?
Many people gripe about car manufacturers charging a fortune for their own graphics as add-ons. My only gripe with them is that they charge a lot but use crap materials! other than that, most do not realise that doing these can be pretty time consuming to them just right!

Thanks Rob.
Actually no. Tartan printed on Avery MPI 1105. Straight roof wrap. Then I cut the stripes from the same print by hand. I had made sure that the tartan squares on the roof were the right width to match the stripes.
The pink Union Jack and stripes were all cut by hand. Avery supreme for the background wrap on the roof first then the flag cut by hand from two colours of Hexis. I had to cut that by hand as I wanted the large cross in the middle to have no joins. I couldn’t cut that wide on our plotter or Roland so no choice there.
Completely agree on the supplied graphics thing. I had two MG cars in this week where they had bought kits. Mactac vinyl rolled so tightly into a roll that it was impossible to get the creases out. Had to re cut from our own stocks. Right pain.

Both of these are really nice, the pink one especially!

Thanks Karen.
The customers were great too. They gave me a rough idea of what they would like and let me go for it. Always nice when that happens.

Nice job Tim,that looks mint! I did a mini not long back and getting them to look right over the bumpers was a nightmare.

I know what you mean David. Don’t dislike them but they aren’t really a mini. I had a 1275 GT when I was young. Fantastic car.

David, is this painted or wrapped?
another cool looking car.

That’s my 7th now Tim. Once you catch the mini bug it won’t go away 🙁 Every time I sell one a couple of years later another magically appears (to my wife’s disapproval lol).
It was resprayed years ago Gary. I’d love to wrap it but it’s 29 years old and there’s a couple of small rust spots appearing which would need dealt with before wrapping. It’s the normal problem, time & money.
