Now like everyone else I have time to do all the things I have been trying to do for the past few years, I get asked about wallpaper weekly so I have decided that I would like to find a "trade-only" printer who can print and supply for me. I have spoken to Papergraphics and really like their products but don’t really want to print with my Roland as I run banners and vinyl on this and I don’t want even more materials to house as starting to run out of space.

    Hi Shane

I know there will be a number of companies that could help you. You could try super wide digital

Im struggling to see the relevance here
Wallpaper, is wallpaper, everything else is a wall covering
Self adhesive vinyl with a laminate does not constitute a wallpaper

I think some people need to have a look at their terminology
A printed vinyl with textured laminate is nothing close to a textured wallpaper

This isn’t a rant, its a "matter of fact"

Who mentioned vinyl with a laminate?
I personally think wall coverings is the best terminology as it covers everything (no pun intended) including wallpaper

Agreed vinyl isn’t wallpaper, I mentioned we print to both the Metamark textured wall art range and also stock standard hi-tac vinyl, as we have trade customers who prefer to go down the route of laminated vinyl.

Reason they do is because they see a laminated product as being more robust, it doesn’t have the same premium look or textured feel as the wall art products, but they want something that isn’t going to damage quite so easy, fitters also prefer it (well ours do at least).

It’s purely customers preference, and the differences are explained every time

Check out Metamarks textured laminates. I know Drytac use to do a range of them too.

Hi chaps, are you looking for ‘traditional’ wallpaper that can be printed on or have i misunderstood this thread!? Ive done a few jobs on ‘wallpaper’ where the client has wanted their design printed on to this product.
