I just finished plastering a few nail holes in my living room. I am going to repaint it this weekend. I think the last time I painted it was in 1995?
Of course, of all times, I have an ache.
I fell asleep in my recliner chair last night and when I went up to bed my hip hurt.
The damn thing hurt all night long and all day too, I feel like the top of my femur is a bloody stump.
It’s hell getting old!

Here Karl this is for you:

I remember when I was a kid, our neighbor (who was an Avon Lady but never wore deodorant) went to see Tom Jones and she threw her panties on the stage.
I didn’t understand why.
She used to sunbathe in a leopard-skin bikini.

I have to admit the reprints from Hybrid are a lot better than what they achieved when i visited them. I do like the fact that they have a very good scratch ability. Also received the prints from Roland today but not had a chance to look at them yet.

Kevin – did you have to lower the tone of the discussion 😕

Two things Jill: if you plaster today, don’t paint tomorrow…..it will fall off…no?
Tom Jones has just been on an Irish chat show here ………….he is cooler than Finn MacCool the winner of the Cool Competition at the Cool International Awards! He deserves all the undies he gets!…..when I grow up I want to be him…. 😀 😀 -
Nah, this is just a little bit of spackling.
It’s pretty nifty stuff, goes on pink and dries white.
The ceiling paint goes on lavender and dries white.
I’ll paint the ceiling tomorrow, then probably the walls on Sunday.
My sister and her hubby lived beside the Avon Lady.
In summer, he always took a lot of time mowing the grass.
😉

quote Peter Normington:didnt see the mimaki JV33 and rs64 running together though.
I am leaning to the mimaki at the moment though.Thinking of a JV33 Peter?
Take a ride up and see ours in action. Bring some of your own files and have a play with it yourself.
I have to say that I’m impressed. A big improvement over the 3.
-
You got one John? I didn’t know that.. i be in touch at some point mate.
-
quote Dave Rowland:You got one John?
Yup.
We won a good order and printing was the bottleneck, so the purchase was forced on us to a large extent. For the first eight weeks we had it running between eighteen and twenty four hours a day, seven day a week, and it performed flawlessly.
There’s lots of improvements over the 3, but the two major ones for me are ink handling and cleanliness. Also, although I appreciate that Shiraz is probably technically the better RIP, I hated it and much prefer the RasterLink Pro that came bundled with the printer.
Anyway, I don’t want to hi-jack this interesting thread on Tom Jones and ladies nether garments so, if you want my full impressions, you have my phone number. 😀

Might have a number for someone within Mimaki who i could suggest the idea to. Dave include your email when you PM me. Have all the prints from Mimaki & Roland now just not had a chance to compare.
