Hi guys, I’ve only just stumbled upon this place tonight.
Had a quick look around while waiting for account activation and it was all going well until i came across a topic on "CCP’s", the one with loads and loads of pages haha.
Now im actually a fully qualified and Corgi registered heating engineer by trade but due to have our third child recently i looked into some form of "working from home" income to pass me over for a few months while spending time with the family etc.
Hence buying the cheaper option of a CCP as opposed to a Roland etc.

Im a major petrol head with a couple of high performance import cars, obviously covered in vinyl from sponsors and the likes and im rather good at CAD’ing so after thinking about it i went out and (please dont shoot me down) bought a "CCP". Set it up without a hitch, had a mess around for a few weeks, doing different designs for friends’ cars etc and declared myself self employed yesterday with a view to getting into the industry a bit deeper.

    So thats me then.
I wont bother asking for help with anything regarding my "CCP" but i am of the opinion of "a bad workman blames their tools" and "it aint the equipment, more the users ability".
Id be glad to show you some of my work to prove the ability of the CCP’s.

Oh and im rather camera shy but i will add my photo at somepoint in the future.

    All the best

HI Chris, nice intro! good luck with it all,

i think i’d rather be a heating engineer than a signmaker at the moment though!
