This was quite an interesting job, the customer wanted a marble effect fascia board, and was just going to go for vinyl letters until I convinced him to go for the 3D gilded ones, the marbling is a paint effect, and no I dont wear a flouncy shirt and velvet flares and me name ain’t Laurence 😀
Probably took a week on and off to do the sign what with waiting for the paint to dry, total price with the window lettering was £510.

Thanks to Paul Rafferty from Ivy Designs for showing me the marble effect

P.S. – took quite a while to load Steve…maybe you could do it as four seperate images, either in a stack or in two’s – side by side?…just a thought….great work regardless 😀

That better Mike 😀 made the raised letters myself, cut from vinyl & stick to your substrate then cut out with a power fret saw. Easy peasy.

You probably didn’t have any beer the night before!

Joe the edges were cut with a router with 45 degree bit, they were cut from 18mm exterior MDF.

Robert, the letters are fixed from the back of the sign panel with screws and the letters are stood off the sign with spacers between letters and sign panel.
