I’ve just finished painting this sign on a landmark building in Pontypool, South Wales. I always remember it as a kid growing up in the late 60’s early 70’s so I was super proud to get the commission to repaint it this week. The last photo is an archive photo of the building before renovation started. The rear was clad with brick slips and pointed before I was let loose on it. The letters are approx 1200mm high and it was all laid out using a chalk line and stabilo pencils.

Yes, I was going to say that… Cannot be easy when the cold starts biting your fingers! :awkward:

How long would something like this take to do Neil?

No it’s not nice Rob, cold is the enemy :shake:

This job took 3 days plus a little planning beforehand.

Thanks John and Brian, I really enjoyed painting this one as I remember seeing it as a kid as far back as the late 60’s from the bus with my mum and dad! 🙂
