Frosted vinyl on office internal windows. which way do you apply it?
Hi all, Just wondering with internal office windows which side of the glass you put frosted etch on? ive lost count of the amount of these jobs that i have done over the years, i always like to put it internally of the office so it looks better on the outside (to others). But ive noticed there doesnt seem to be a set rule. How do you decide?
usually on the inside of an office or partition as it gives depth
I find it makes so little difference I just put it on the side that is easiest to access.
Always inside, but have on occasion done the opposite but that’s only if there are problems with access or obstacles.
internally fitted means it is most likely to be cleaned less than an outside window so limits the amount of abrasion and chemical issues that may arise from cleaning over the top of it.
i.e.
an intricate cut vinyl graphic in etch vinyl being cleaned weekly/monthly my office cleaners may catch and dog-ear the graphics as the clothes catch the edges or corners.same applies if the etch has bee printed and no laminate. it will be subjected to cleaning chemicals smearing or rubbing off the prints.
