Application Tape Dispensers – Box type

Hi we have recently added to our team and we have a few members who are really struggling to use our application-tape-on-a-scafolding-bar type dispenser so I was wondering if anyone had tried those box type ones that you run over your vinyl to dispense, or the Weeder Sheeter http://www.weedersheeter.com or similar device?

We really need to stop the mistakes and we have spent a few weeks now trying to get this right and it’s not really working…..any other suggestion would be appreciated.

Serious Peter, is it that good? I assume from your post you bought both? How small can you go with your lettering on the weeder and are there any UK suppliers or are you better off just importing?

Jason, I only bought the sheeter,
John C bought both, so he will be in a better position to answer your question. the sheeter though is an excellent bit of kit.
I dont think there is a uk supplier

As Peter said above, there is no UK distributor. You need to order direct.

For the type of work we do, both machines are absolutely invaluable, and paid for themselves more in a matter of days rather than weeks. After a day or two to familiarise themselves, the speed with which my girls were turning out stuff astounded the hell out of me.

Our work apart, if I were a one man band, doing one-off vans, I’d still consider the Sheeter an essential piece of equipment. Other than speed, it turns out a nice product; no creases, wrinkles, bubbles, and a nice even pressure across the whole area.

So is it good for laminating banners? The video doesn’t show it laminating

Its not a laminator John,

and doubt if it would be useful as such, compared with a dedicated laminator
