I seem to be seeing more and more of this recently and didn’t think it was done anymore.

Does anyone on here add a small logo and contact details to signs they produce?

We never have but just wondered if anyone does and if they’ve had direct referrals from it? Also do you discount the sign in order to do so?

I positively insist on our logo on all the vehicles we do, the ‘discount’ is applied on the basis that its on there, price is higher without it. It’s also part of our guarantee, no signature badge, no warranty.
We get hundreds of jobs from it just by people seeing our logo on any nice liveries they see every day

We stick a small logo on vehicles, Nothing in your face.

Works wonders, especially when they end up in a body shop.

As for building signs, nah, don’t bother.

I do on vehicles – if I like the design!

On flat panels I often whack a simple sticker on the rear, and on commercial trays I often tuck a small one bottom corner. I wouldn’t do it on a retail / high st. sign.

    Interesting,

I was referring mainly to fascia signs though. I get it with vehicles because word of mouth is invaluable in that area, we get lots of referrals from people who have seen our vehicles.

Not sure about the benefit from signs though.

Used to do it all the time on the old panatrim frames, mainly do trays now so difficult to do it discreetly. I think you may struggle to get away with it on a facia sadly, customers would take issue with it

I always apply a small sticker on every vehicle we do. Only ever had one person precious enough to complain so took the sticker off to save them the bother.

It’s a missed opportunity not to do it.

I don’t bother with fascia signs though

Do you discount? Or just stick it on anyway and wait for them to complain?

    Discount 😆

Stick it on, they complain, take it off.

I know there is one company local to us, who I’ve seen with large logos on customers vehicles, they must be discounting or they’re be in the brown stuff 😉

we used to do it for many years, but stopped and I actually don’t know why!
without a doubt, it works… I think its an old school thing that still exists today, but only just… as I hardly see them as much.
I have never discounted like has been said, if they complain, we take it off, but never had a complaint, or at least do not recall. many companies do the same, just look at any car you buy! they tag it across the rear window, "Arnold Clark" or whatever…

I don’t do fascia signs, but again, we used to many moons ago.
Robert Tate Signs in Glasgow tagged every sign they did with a circular 75mm – 100mm sticker in the corner. It was so common across Glasgow I got to recognise a Robert Tate sign, and guess before looking. 😆
Their work was always decent and well made and they were around for as long as I remember. I heard Robert has just recently passed away, which is a shame.
