    Hi

Trying to install a Summa D140r driver to windows 7 machine. I am getting an error 52 code, windows cannot verify the digital signature for the driver etc.

Anyone had this problem, these are the latest drivers which have come with the machine ( downloaded from Summa Be.)
and know how I can work around this issue?

    Regards
    Steff

    Hi Steff,
It is weird that Windows does not recognize Summa drivers? Are you sure they are genuine drivers?
If the drivers are genuine then probably Summa did not want to pay anymore the hefty fee towards Microsoft to put their stamp on drivers.
All you have to do is to disable this option prior to install the drivers:
    Option 1: http://ccm.net/faq/3914-windows-7-how-to-install-unsigned-drivers
    Option 2: http://superuser.com/questions/372725/install-unsigned-drivers-in-windows-7

DO NOT FORGET TO ENABLE IT AGAIN AFTER OR YOU LEAVE A HUGE SECURITY HOLE ON YOUR COMPUTER!!!!

Let us know how it goes.

    Thanks for the reply

    The issue is now resolved.

This was a brand new install, for some reason the latest drivers weren’t recognised, the fix was to download earlier drivers then update with the latest drivers.

Thanks to Paul at Art Systems.
