I’ve obviously got too much time on my hands and i’m sure this highly important topic has been discussed before but…. what type of paper towel do you use for cleaning with. For the last 10 yrs i use a 2ply which i get from the local shop but over the years the price now seems silly and the sizes have reduced….same old story i know. Looking for much the same but most importantly is it doesnt break up when torn leavings little bits all over the vehicle.

So what do you use and where from? seems to be lots of the blue automotive stuff around but have never used it.

Thanks for your time on this pressing matter 😂

Ive never bought paper cloths sorry. I use cut up old t-shirts, old pillow cases/bedding. I even use all the old sports socks with holes in that my boys go through. Recycling at its best.

i use blue roll tissue mainly but also old towels, clothes, and t-shirts. 😀
i find that blue roll is constantly chucked in the bin but the towels and rags can be washed and reused.

We bulk buy white linen rags from laundry companies, large 10kg bags, they make the best rags.

Don’t use blue automotive clothes, years ago after fitting a sign, one of the lads used one with a little IPA to clean finger prints off the sign… and started leave blue dye from rag behind….

We paid £28.20 for 20kg last year, all white lint free linen.

Microfibre cloths, bulk buy them, new ones for final prep, older ones for cleaning a bit of road muck off, old / manky ones for glue removal only! I bought three bags of 40 from https://mcrofbre.com two years ago and still have 2 unopened bags as I wash & dry the dirty ones every few weeks.

I don’t think I could go back to using paper towel again!

3-4 Euro per paper roll from Aldi.

Blue paper on a roll is around 50 euros.

I prefer paper towel to recycled Tshirts.
