We use Metamark, great product.
10mm overlap
Trimmed on bench cutter (Keencut Evo) -
Various methods to trim paper Shaun, from doing it by hand through to the likes of an automated Fotoba machine. I use a desktop keencut type cutter, but a descent straight edge will do if its not something your doing a lot of.
Overlap depends on you or who is fitting it and preferences. Some folk will overlap, some overlap and cut to create a butt-join.
Butt-joins can be doing using a straight edge and scalpel or purpose made knifes like the Muraspec double cut knife. -
If you’d prefer the butted look, I’d still over lap, then cut through both layers carefully, removing the excess.
But as with all media, you will get a nominal shrinkage overtime creating a hairline gap.And as Rob says – a good straight will do if you don’t have a bench top cutter.

Its good fun/work – we get some cracking results with Metamark Décor (find it very easy to fit too).
Enjoy!

I use a new sheet to cut on to and use a good straight edge and scalpel, I don’t know how people except overlaps as it looks really poor, we only ever butt join and due to the material even after time does not shrink like vinyls.
