Hi everyone. Recently upgraded Versaworks to their new dual version for my pro 4. Doesn’t appear to be much of a difference tbh but today, trying to do a print & cut after laminating & discovered that it’s trying to cut two paths around the cut line, like it’s outlined the stroke, as usual Roland are shut when we need a fix. Anyone encountered this?
I have tried ripping in the older version but it’s not playing ball

We have had this issue when ever there are transparencies in the file and saved as a PDF the only way around this that we found was to save as a eps then it’s fine. I spoke to Roland about the issue and they knew about it but would not admit it was an issue or a fault with the new rip.

Hi Lee, pretty much every file I send to all of my printers is an eps file lately, I went through every element individually to check for transparency & was all as it should be. When I spoke with Roland recently on another dual issue (rotating files) I was told to wait for updates & would eventually get a fix. Good to know it’s not just me though. It has strangely just fixed itself without my help?
